Bishop Carroll’s Kendall Forbes – Athlete of the Month Presented by Two Brothers BBQ

Coming into her senior season, Kendall Forbes of Bishop Carroll High School wanted to take on more of a leadership role with the basketball and be her teammates biggest fan.

“As the years go on you naturally develop more confidence. This year I hope to be the best cheerleader, role model, and teammate I can possibly be,” said Forbes. “When you play a team sport such as basketball, you have to have great team chemistry in order to be successful. I love this aspect of the game because it makes our team closer.”

Forbes admits she is excited to have the opportunity to take the court with a member of her own family.  “I am most excited to get to play with my sister, Landon one last time. We have played together since I was in second grade, and she was in first grade, so it is a little bit of a bittersweet year,” said Forbes.

Away from the court, Forbes is involved in a summer softball travel team with 316 Elite.

“We had a great season and had the best coach and teammates ever, so I decided that would be my last season playing travel softball. I will play softball here at Bishop Carroll in the spring though,” said Forbes.

After she graduates her plans include attending Pittsburg State University where she will play softball and major in business.
