Michael, a senior at North, got his final cross country season off to a rousing start at the Bishop Carroll Invitational at Lake Afton. Michael was the individual champion, winning the 5,000-meter race in a time of 16 minutes, 53 seconds. He has high expectations for this season, as he is the reigning City League champion and he also won a Class 6A regional title.
