Peyton Linker is a member of the varsity golf team at Wellington High School. In 2018, Peyton was involved in a golfing accident. He was outside practicing and when he swung his club and the metal shaft snapped. The shaft nicked an artery in his wrist and he had to regain feeling back in some of his fingers. Even after going through all of that his dream is to still play golf. Wellington placed second at state last year. Linker is involved with the DARE program at school and has volunteered at the VFW in Derby Kansas, helping to feed veterans. His hobbies include golfing, being outside and helping his dad with his paintless dent repair company. After graduation, Peyton plans to play college golf while pursuing his degree.
