Visit Wichita Seeks Volunteers for National Lacrosse Tournament

Visit Wichita is looking for enthusiastic volunteers (age 16+) to help make this year’s Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) Division I and Division II National Championships a great success. This event will take place on May 7-10, 2024 at SCHEELS Stryker Sports Complex. Below are brief descriptions of each committee.

Event Administration Committee: In this committee you will help manage the Information Tent with USA Lacrosse staff. Event Information will be shared with all committee volunteers prior to the event and staff will have a hard copy in the tent as well for reference. Volunteers in this committee will also help support meal distribution to staff, volunteers, and officials.

Event Operations Committee: In this committee you will work directly with USA Lacrosse staff to manage all fields during the event. Responsibilities will include set-up and tear down of fields with tents and tables, refilling sideline hydrations stations with drinks and ice as needed, sign placement, and other related tasks.  *This committee will have days prior to competition available. *

Game Operations Committee: In this committee you will help track game scores, record goals and penalties, and keep track of the official game time at the field. Training will be provided prior to the event.
