Three-sport standout Cameron Bowyer enters his senior season at Valley Center High School ready to take on a tough schedule with the hopes of improving from last season under head coach Scott L’Ecuyer. Bowyer said he and his teammates are ready to take the field and get the season started.
“Something I love about my team is that they are like family to me, and they hold me and everyone accountable,” said Bowyer.
The fullback and linebacker is a member of the varsity wrestling team once football season comes to an end and track and field in the spring. Bowyer is Senior Class President and has big plans once his high school days come to an end.
“After I graduate, I would like to play football in college and then go on to coach and teach high school and just climb the coaching ladder and go to the next level,” said Bowyer.
Like many of his peers, Bowyer went through a driving school to get his license. Bowyer and his family decided to attend the Wichita Driving School where Bowyer gained the knowledge and experience, he needed to pass his drivers exam.
“Wichita Driving School taught me a lot and they fit with my busy schedule,” said Bowyer. “I really enjoyed them teaching me the rules of the road.”
In his free time Bowyer enjoys listening to music and playing video game when he’s not lifting weights.
