McAfee named Assistant AD at Collegiate – Presented by Wichita Collegiate

According to his social media post Monday afternoon, Kurt McAfee has been named the Assistant Athletic Director at Wichita Collegiate.

McAfee had previously been the athletic director at The Independent School since 2016 and prior to that, he was the athletic director at Pratt Community College for ten years.

Along with his career in athletics, McAfee was also a college football official in the NJCAA and NCAA Division II. He was the director of officials for the KCAC from 2013 to 2021.

McAfee will work in a Spartan athletic program that is coming off state championships in baseball and boys and girls tennis, as well as winning seasons in boys basketball and football.

Collegiate has won 95 state athletic championships since 1986.
