Jackson Bezdek is a two-sport athlete for Kapaun Mount Carmel where he played basketball and baseball. Bezdek was the Sports Editor for Kapaun’s news publication “The Paladin” and was also the voice of the Crusaders’ football last fall as he handled the play-by-play duties for YouTube broadcasts.

He won four state championship awards by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters in March. Beyond sports and journalism, Bezdek was also involved in choir, National Honor Society and Scholar’s Bowl. He also helped with a local little league baseball organization called League 42. Next year, Bezdek will be attending Oklahoma State and plans to major in sports media.
