Kapaun Mt. Carmel’s Grant Johnson – Lori Pabst Farmers Player Profile

Senior and starting point guard for the Kapaun Mt. Carmel basketball team, Grant Johnson understands the importance of representing his team, teammates and school.

“I love the energy created around Kapaun Athletics by fellow students,” Johnson said. “For the four months during basketball season, I see my teammates more than my own siblings. In a sense it creates a bond similar to that of a family.”

That thirst for excellence not only drives Johnson on the court, it also drives him in the classroom where he excels as well. Johnson is a self-taught computer programmer with his eye on a future in the business of computers.

“I have taught myself how to code and program and have spent my recent time programming video games,” said Johnson. “I would like to pursue computer programming after graduating from Kapaun.”

When he’s not on the court or finishing an assignment from school, you can find him spending time with friends and family.
