Isaac Oquendo – Campus High School Spotlight

Issac Oquendo is a cross country and long distance track runner at Campus High School.

Oquendo is a two-time state qualifier for the Colts cross country program and this past year, he took 44th at the 6A Tournament.

To go along with his state meet qualifications, Oquendo was also a first team all-league runner in 2019, where he took second at the league meet. He was a second team all-league runner in 2018.

Oquendo showed considerable improvement from his freshman year to his senior year this year. As a freshman, his 5k time was 20:38 and this year his personal record time was 16:40. He also made it onto Campus top 10-school banner this year.

Next year, Oquendo will be running at Friends University.
