Halstead’s Bailey Goodman – Hog Wild Prep Performance of the Month

Bailey Goodman from Halstead was poised to have a great softball season for the Dragons, after coming back from an injury that kept her out the entire 2019 season.

As a sophomore, Goodman was an honorable mention all-league player as a designated player and was going to play pitcher and first base for Halstead this season.

Goodman had shoulder surgery a year ago and worked diligently to rehabilitate her shoulder in order to have a successful season as a senior. In fact, that played a significant factor in her recovery.

Even though Goodman was unable to play last year, she tried to motivate and encourage her teammates. She was considered to be one of the smartest players the coaches had ever been associated with.
