Kaeden Hoefer is a three-sport athlete at Goddard, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He started playing all three sports at a young age.
But it is his love for football that will be the focus for him in college, as he will be attending Butler Community College this fall.
Football has been Hoefer’s love since the second grade and he played both offense and defense for the Lions this season, but he excels at wide receiver, where he was first team all-league. He caught 17 balls for 204 yards and three touchdowns.
He even had to play quarterback for Goddard. He threw for 878 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 158 yards and a score. Hoefer’s teammates were impressed that he sacrificed his season at receiver in order to play quarterback for the betterment of the team’s success.
Hoefer was also a first team all-league outfielder in baseball and played varsity this year for the Lions basketball team.
