Garden Plain’s Clarie Clark – Shelter Insurance Athlete of the Month

Clarie Clark from Garden Plain was a standout track athlete for three years.

She qualified for the state tournament all three years in the 4×100 relay, 4×400 relay, the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles.

Clark won back-to-back state championships in the 4×100 and made the medal stand a total of seven times over her career. Last season, the Owls won the team title.

Clark was described as the hardest working athlete on the track team and was the team leader. She truly loved track and field.

She also participated in basketball and volleyball for Garden Plain and was on the Honor Roll for three years and a part of F.F.A.

Next year, Clark will be running track at Fort Scott Community College.
