Chance Cook was a standout track athlete at Central Burden High School where he excelled at the pole vault.
Cook was the 2019 state champion in the pole vault, where he set his personal record. He threw 15-00 in the finals and the next best was 13-06. Outside of track, Cook was the Valedictorian at Central Burden and was a KU Honors Scholar.
Cook also won Central Burden’s Citizenship Award twice and the Raider Work Ethic Award. Next fall, Cook is going to Oral Roberts University where he plans on getting into the medical field by majoring in Biology.
