Cross Country runner Paul Sevart was chosen as the Campus Profile Athlete of the Month for October. As a sophomore, Sevart was a 6A state qualifier last season and finished 77th.

“To improve my placement, I’ve been pushing my team to make me better,” said Sevart, about trying to finish higher at state this season. “A successful season would be winning the league and getting back to the state tournament.”

So far this season, Sevart has finished 10th at the Andover Invitational, eighth and ninth at Derby Invitational #1 and Derby Invitational #2 and ninth at the Newton Invitational.

“This season has gone great,” Sevart said. “Even if the virus has made things a little worse.”
