Campus High’s Cole Clough: Athlete Spotlight – Presented by JOMA Bowling Centers

By Matt Browning

Cole Clough of Campus was voted as Wichita Large School Preseason Boys Bowler of the Year. Clough received over 5,000 votes, which was 40 percent of the overall vote. “Having the most votes means a lot to me,” Clough said. “It means that people believe that I am a good bowler and a good leader.”

Clough was a part of the 2019 state championship team at Campus, which was the first in school’s history. For Clough individually, he wants to have a top 25 state scoring average and then qualify for the state meet. “None of these accomplishments could have been done by myself,” Clough said. “I bowl with a great bunch of guys who have helped with this.”

Clough plans to bowl next season at Ottawa University and pursue a degree in Management Information System (Computer Science).
