Brendon Chadd – Campus Athlete of the Month

By Matt Browning

Senior Brendon Chadd was chosen as the Campus Athlete of the Month for March. Last season, Chadd finished 13th in the 200 free, 7th in the 500 free and was a part of the 400 relay team.

Chadd said his experience at Campus has been a great one due to the academic and athletic atmosphere.

“Campus has great teachers, a great atmosphere and our pool is the best in our division,” Chadd said.

The goals for Chadd this season are to place at state again and then set a school record, which he also did last season.

“The COVID-19 restrictions got me off to a slow start,” Chadd said. “But I have gotten up to where I wanted to be and plan on finishing the season strong.”

Aside from swimming, Chadd also participates in band and National Honor Society at Campus. Next year, he plans on swimming at Iowa Central Community College.
