Bishop Carroll Girls Soccer – Kansas Turnpike Authority Senior Shoutout

Bishop Carroll Girls Soccer

Three Bishop Carroll girls soccer seniors, Lauren Brooks, Libby Brooks and Taryn Lubbers were just a part of an Eagles’ team that was going to contend for a 5A championship.

Carroll returned 10 starters from last year’s team that went 18-2 and finished third at state. The Eagles fell to St. Thomas Aquinas 2-0 in the 5A semifinals.

Lubbers was a first team all-state selection as a midfielder, as well as first team all-league. She will be playing at Kansas State next year.

Libby Brooks was a second team all-league selection as a defender, while Lauren Brooks was an honorable mention all-league player as a forward.

In total, Carroll was set to return six players who were either first or second team all-league, which was the most of any team in the league.
