Cooper Schultz from Andover Central was one of the top golfers not only in the area, but in the state.
Schultz won his league tournament, as well as his regional in 2019 on his way to an eighth place finish at the 5A Tournament, where he shot even par.
Undoubtedly, Schultz would have been one of the favorites to win the individual title this season. In 2019, Schultz finished the season with the best scoring average in the state at two-under par. In 2018, Schultz had the best scoring average in Class 4A.
Schultz was a member of the Jaguars state tournament teams in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and was instrumental in Andover Central’s state championship team last year.Next year, Schultz will be playing golf at Kansas State.
