Head coach Chris Bellar was excited for the upcoming tennis season. With a number of experienced players returning to the court, Bellar felt the team was poised for a season to remember.

The year was looking bright with nine seniors total and five returning senior state qualifiers. Parents, coaches and the athletes were devastated at the quick end to their dreams that started on the court together over a decade ago.
