Lexee Hughey was a two-sport standout athlete at El Dorado High School, where she played volleyball and softball for the Wildcats.
In volleyball, Hughey was selected all-league honorable mention twice and was also selected as the team captain as a junior and as a senior, as well as program captain as a senior. As a sophomore, Hughey was also a part of the Wildcat team that made it to the 4A Tournament.
On the softball diamond, Hughey was a first team all-league utility player last season for the Wildcats, where she was also the team captain.
Athletics is not the only place at El Dorado where Hughey excelled, as she graduated with a 3.92 grade point average.
Next year, Hughey plans to attend Johnson County Community College where she will major in Dental Hygiene.
